The position is responsible for developing the corporate and strategic objectives for the bank on a medium term and annual basis. The incumbent is also responsible for finalizing the annual business targets for the Bank Board approval and leading the business team to achieve the various approved business targets. The incumbent is also responsible for performance management of all the departments / units under Business Development function. The role is also responsible for planning and implementing the Branch expansion Programme of the bank as well as scrutinizing and approving credit facilities as per delegated powers.

- Finance and strategy including: revenues, costs and balance sheet.
- Products and services - products and services, manage the Business units of the bank profitably, sales and in particular customers of high value, strategic partnerships of the business, manage the customer service, product Development for business including innovation and Business information including marketing data.
- System Processes & Customer satisfaction - risk management and mitigation, compliance to processes and innovation for improvement, manage partnership agreements, create customer convenience and increase level of cross-sale across all Strategic Business Units
- People Management and leadership โ recruitment, training development & capacity building, work culture, team work and productivity, self- drive, value addition and leading from the front.

โข Seek for business plans approval through the budgeting process and implementation procedures.

โข Seek and originate facility requests for financing/investment and process credit approvals at various authorized levels and be accountable and responsible

โข Seek for approval of activities that have a monetary value be it fees, rates, profit rates, costs, and procurement of capital items according to the financial, credit and procurement procedures and authority levels.

โข Requires a Bachelorโs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (advanced degree or certification strongly preferred).
โข 10+ years of relevant professional experience or demonstrated high level of success related to finance, law, public administration.
