Mr Sharif holds a bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a post graduate degree in IT. He also holds a postgraduate diploma of International Relations and Diplomacy. He has acquired computer skills in software technology, Networking CCNA and Hardware A+

Sharif’s working experience spans across many countries and in different fields one being logistics and marketing where he worked for two years as head of Salihiya cargo company in Mumbai, India and also worked at sky African development as deputy manager. In business he is the founder of East Leigh hard and steel company in Nairobi Kenya.

He has several years of banking experience having worked at IBS Bank first for the 3 years as swift and treasury department manager. He has been the Head of corporate and institutional banking for the last years during which the Bank has experienced phenomenal growth in acquisition of Corporate clients, growth in deposits and financing as well as improvements of customer service and relationships at all levels.

Sharif has spearheaded the customer segmentations of IBS business, creating a clear distinction between economic sectors and bringing into focus the potential and special financial needs of corporate customers in all segments including the productive sectors of agriculture, livestock, and fisheries in their entire eco system up to an including SME segments. Further he has helped to identify immense opportunities for cross selling of different bank products including the SME eco system to big corporates and the development of specific products for each client segment.
